Don't forget to come to the 8'th annual Naasville Bluegrass Festival held at the same place as 96 and 97. This years festival is held the 10-11 of July, 1998. The bands will start at 19.00 at night on friday and at 13.00 on saturday. The music will go on way into the night, both days. Bands come from all over scandinavia this year. From USA the legendary Tom Paley. From Sweden among others are "High On Grass". From Denmark "Cowfreaks Revival" and "Train 45". From Finland "Groundbreakers". Entrance is 59 SEK. The event takes place at Naas, between Alingsas and Goteborg.

The sixth annual Naasville Bluegrass Festival had a greater lineup then
ever. This time we have spent a little more time on this Web-site. Thanks
to our Web-sponsors we can have this site running. Hopefully we get even
more visitors then 1995 years festival.
Although we haven't adverticed much on the internet for last years festival,
we have had visitors from many, many countries (Holland, UK, USA, Japan,
Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and many more). Our main Web-sponsor is
Axiell Bibliotekssystem, Scandinavias mostly
spread computer software for libraries. Sponsor for our images is Lerums Sportfoto.
This years lineup
This years lineup was better than ever. We had two major acts from the US.
Bluegrass Etc. which is maybe the most popular american festival-band over
here and the fenomenal duo Dan Crary & Beppe Gambetta. We documented the
festival by camera, so we have around 200 pictures from the two days. A
small selection of pictures appear on these pages. We plan to sell
pictures from the festival in order to found money for next years
festival. So if you are interested in a picture of Bluegrass Etc. or
Dan Crary or someone else, contact us. I may
transfer more images from the festival to the Web if there is a demand for it.
Location
The festival was held at Naas on the swedish westcoast. Situated between Goteborg
and Alingsas. The area belonged originally to a castle and is now organized
by Lerums county. Next years festival will be held at the same place and
time (2:nd weekend in July).
