Bengt Ericson
Friday the 12th of July started out a few words from the MC and banjo-
player Bengt Ericson. For the special day he was dressed in his Wyatt Earp
outfit, which we don't see much of on this picture but maybe later on.
Yellow 'n' Bluegrass
Guitar: Benny Larsson, Banjo: Bo Gustafsson, Mandolin: Christian Nielsen, Bass: Anders Backberg.
First band was Yellow 'n' Bluegrass from
Eskilstuna. Benny had this year brought a new guitar that he had built himself.
According to people who tested his guitar, it was not much different from
a Martin (TM) guitar. Bo Gustafson also makes his own instruments. He had
a Mandolin for sale that he had built by himself. You see them standing right
outside "Lekhuset",
where the first days festival was held between 19.00 and some time past
midnight. "Lekhuset" was built as a gymnasium in the beginning of the century.
Outside is a large grass-field that was used for the second day of the
festival.
