GrassFire
Kristian Ang - Dobro, Jan Carlstrom - Mandolin,
Thorsten Jakobsson - Guitar, Bengt Ericson - Banjo, Carina Ang - Bass.
GrassFire made its festival debute this year. This band is
a little unusual since it consists of most of the festival organization.
Bengt on banjo is the originator of the whole festival. Jan handles the entrance and
makes sure that everybody pays and later makes sure that everybody gets paid.
Thorsten (myself) took all the pictures (except these two, little fuzzy aren't they?)
and also made this Web-site. Kristian helped the soundman - Kjell Johansson
to get the excellent sound to the audience.
The time before the start of the show was a little hectic since there where
many things to fix before the festival could start and not much time to
prepare for playing.
The band has existed for 3 years with various members. The 3 in the middle are
original members. Take a look at their homepage.
