New City CowFreaks

Bruno Gehrig- Drums, Flemming Colind - Banjo, Morten Steensig - Guitar, Karsten Holm - Vocals/Dobro, Thomas Nitschke - Bass, Jesper Rubner - Mandolin.
CowFreaks have become an institution at Naas. People run to the stage-area when the CowFreaks are ready to play. This year they had brought their Breakdown-glasses which seems to be essential to play Foggy Mountain Breakdown (I bet they only see fog in those glasses). They had also learned a trick from the band Bluegrass Etc.. Mandolin-Jesper and Flemming both played the final part of Foggy Mountain Breakdown on Flemmings banjo. Flemming used his right hand Jesper his left! CowFreaks play a modern style of Bluegrass that is hard to describe. They have a new CD this year - Cow Siesta.
